Service

The arithmetic comes first.

Four numbers decide whether marketing can work for your business. Most owners have never been shown them together, and most agencies never ask.

The four numbers

Everything else is downstream of these.

NumberWhy it decides everything
Average job valueSets the ceiling on what a customer can cost. A $300 job and a $3,000 job are different businesses with different channels.
Close rateHow many enquiries become paid work. Halving this doubles your true cost per customer.
Local search demandHow many people in your service area actually search for what you sell each month. National figures routinely overstate this by 50×.
Cost per clickWhat the auction charges in your market. Combined with the three above, it produces a break-even you can hold every decision against.

Put together they answer one question: what does a customer have to be worth for this to pay? If your jobs are worth less than that, no campaign, agency, or budget increase changes the outcome.

What we actually pull

We don't estimate demand from keyword tools that report national averages. We query the Google Ads API directly for your metro, filtered to the services you genuinely offer, and strip out everything adjacent that you'd be paying for by mistake.

That last part matters more than it sounds. In one recent assessment, filtering a repair business's keyword set down to the work they actually performed removed more than half the apparent demand — the rest was refinishing, upholstery, and cushion replacement they don't do. Those terms become the negative keyword list on day one instead of a budget leak nobody notices for a quarter.

What you get

A written assessment

Not a slide deck. A document with the numbers, where each came from, and what we could and couldn't verify. You keep it whether or not you hire us.

A break-even you can hold us to

The job value your business needs to support paid acquisition, stated plainly, agreed before any money is spent.

The free fixes, listed first

Business listing, reviews, broken links, tracking gaps. The items that cost nothing come before anything we'd invoice for.

Where we say no

An assessment that can only conclude "yes, hire us" isn't an assessment. We've told a prospect their catalog couldn't support the campaign they asked for, shown the monthly profit-and-loss at every plausible volume, and recommended a one-time project instead of the retainer we'd already drafted.

That's the product. If the numbers don't close, you find out in week one for free, rather than in month four for several thousand dollars.

Common questions

How long does an assessment take?

About a week from getting access to your analytics and answering a few questions about job values and capacity.

What access do you need?

Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and your ad account if one exists. Read-only is fine to start.

What if I don't know my close rate?

Most owners don't track it precisely. We'll work from a range and flag how much the conclusion depends on it — often it doesn't change the answer at all.

Is the assessment really free?

Yes, and there's no obligation attached. It's how we decide whether we can help, which is a question we'd rather answer before taking your money than after.
